Volleyball Recap: Tipton Takes a Loss

Tipton lost against Western back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Trynadee Tilley paced Tipton's offense, picking up nine kills. Tilley got some help from Bella Henderson and her ten assists. Henderson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Tipton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Western, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season.

Tipton has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Rossville on the 6th. As for Western, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Logansport on the 4th.
