Volleyball Recap: Glenelg Country Takes a Loss

Glenelg Country was the 3-0 winner over John Carroll when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons lost 3-0 to the Patriots on Friday. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Glenelg Country ultimately came up short, they really made John Carroll work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 27-25, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Glenelg Country still got an impressive performance from Kennedy Cummins, who had 28 digs and three aces. Cummins has been hot, having posted 16 or more digs the last seven times she's played. Payton Russo also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Glenelg Country's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for John Carroll, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

As of now, neither Glenelg Country nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
