Baseball Recap: Valley View Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Abington Heights, Valley View was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Scranton Knights. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Knights on April 7th, they had to take a 5-1 loss.

Valley View's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-10. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Scranton, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Valley View is set to face off against their familiar foe Scranton Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Scranton will take on rival Delaware Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
