Preview: Plainview vs. Rider
Plainview have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Rider at 7:00 PM. Plainview come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Plainview, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They have to be aching after a bruising 8-31 loss to Randall. Plainview were down by 0-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, after flying high against Wylie two weeks ago, Rider came back down to earth. Rider took a hard 7-27 fall against Cooper.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
