Football Game Preview: Kamiah Kubs vs. Glenns Ferry Pilots + How To Watch

The Kamiah Kubs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Glenns Ferry Pilots at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Kamiah's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Glenns Ferry has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Kamiah is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 64-0 win over Lapwai. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Kamiah can attribute much of their success to Lawson Landmark, who threw for 171 yards and five touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and Everett Oatman, who gained 195 total yards and four touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Landmark a new career-high in passer rating (158).

Kamiah's defense stepped up as well, laying out Jereese Mccormack six times. It was truly a group effort as Boone Cox, Blake Bechaver, and Dillon Lockart picked up two apiece.

Meanwhile, Glenns Ferry faced Murtaugh in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Pilots came up short against the Red Devils, falling 28-8. Having soared to a lofty 44 points in the game before, the Pilots couldn't push the score so high this time.

Glenns Ferry now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Kamiah, their record is now 7-1.

Kamiah took their win against Glenns Ferry in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 56-34 score. Do the Kubs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pilots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
