Football Recap: Midfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Huffman last Friday, Midfield came back down to earth. The Patriots took a blow against the Wenonah Dragons on Friday, falling 35-0. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Antonio Anderson threw for 116 yards on eight of 16 attempts. Aaron Adams Martin was his top target, picking up 88 receiving yards.

Midfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wenonah, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Midfield and Wenonah will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Patriots will challenge rival Winfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wenonah is set to take on their familiar foe Corner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
