Basketball Recap: GRACE Christian Comes Up Short

GRACE Christian lost against Cary Christian last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The GRACE Christian Eagles fell 49-39 to the Cary Christian Knights. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cary Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Audrey Glupker led the charge by going 6-for-7 to rack up 12 points and three steals. That's the most points Glupker has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Myers, who earned six points and 11 steals.

GRACE Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Cary Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

GRACE Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cary Christian, they will face off against John Paul II Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. John Paul II Catholic will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Cary Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
