Flag Football Recap: Fayette County Starts off Right with Win over Union Grove

Fayette County had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the Union Grove Wolverines get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

The critical scores for Fayette County came from Leilani Boswell and Mariah Rhoades.

Union Grove is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Fayette County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-0 victory against Elite Scholars Academy on the 7th. As for Union Grove, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eagle's Landing at 6:30 p.m. on the 20th.
