Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Lynx vs. Seeley-Swan Blackhawks

Lincoln is 2-8 against Seeley-Swan since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Lincoln Lynx will welcome the Seeley-Swan Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lincoln is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Victor: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Lincoln blew Victor out of the water with an 86-18 final score. The win was familiar territory for the Lynx who have now won eight matches in a row.

Meanwhile, Seeley-Swan had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They breezed by the Pirates to the tune of 90-18. The Blackhawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35 points. As for Seeley-Swan, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Lincoln strolled past Seeley-Swan when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 51-33. Will Lincoln repeat their success, or does Seeley-Swan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
