Football Recap: Ryan Luna and Dominic Barajas Pace Firebaugh Defense

Fowler came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Firebaugh, but Ryan Luna wouldn't allow it. The Eagles blew past the Redcats 35-0 on Friday for which the team can thank Luna, who rushed for 133 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making seven total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Firebaugh didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Luna and Dominic Barajas. Another thorn in Fowler's side was Alex Rosa, who picked up a sack and made six total tackles (3.0 for loss).
