St. James entered their tilt with Redwood Valley on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

St. James pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Redwood Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. James is set to square off against their familiar foe Jackson County Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Saints 2.5, the Huskies 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Redwood Valley will face off against rival Windom at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
