Basketball Recap: Tyler HEAT Takes a Loss

Tyler HEAT played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 55-26 loss at the hands of the Dallas HSAA Angels. Tyler HEAT hasn't had much luck with Dallas HSAA recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Dallas HSAA got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hailey Fehr out in front who posted six points along with 14 rebounds and seven steals. That's the most steals Fehr has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Jessi Yarbrough, who shot 46% from the field on her way to 15 points and seven boards.

Tyler HEAT's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dallas HSAA, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Tyler HEAT will challenge Jacksonville at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Dallas HSAA, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-56 win against Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries on the 8th.
