Volleyball Recap: Pike Central Takes a Loss

Pike Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Washington Hatchets. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Hatchets when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-9, 25-12.

Pike Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Washington, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Pike Central will be playing at home against Southridge at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Washington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against North Knox on the 21st.
