Football Recap: Hobart Comes Up Short

Hobart and Fairview squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hobart had to settle for second. They came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 26-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Bearcats were not able to get on the board.

Hobart's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Fairview, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Hobart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pocola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Yellowjackets 14.9, the Indians 12.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
