Baseball Recap: CSTHEA Comes Up Short

CSTHEA was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Signal Mountain Eagles. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

CSTHEA saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Kerley, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

CSTHEA's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Signal Mountain, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. CSTHEA will face off against East Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Signal Mountain will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hixson at 7:00 p.m. on March 24th.
