Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Williston last Friday, St. Mary's Central came back down to earth. The St. Mary's Central Saints took an 87-74 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dickinson Midgets on Tuesday. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Midgets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

St. Mary's Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Dickinson, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

St. Mary's Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 78-70 defeat against Minot North on the 14th. Dickinson has also already played their next contest, an 86-83 victory against Minot on the 14th.
