Baseball Recap: Strath Haven Panthers vs. Henderson Warriors
After losing to Henderson the last time they met, Strath Haven decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Strath Haven Panthers had just enough and edged the Henderson Warriors out 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Strath Haven.
Jake McDonough was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jack Shuster, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
On Henderson's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Patrick Lynn, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and an RBI.
Even though they lost, Henderson hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That's the most strikeouts they've managed all season.
