Belleville East lost to Red Bud back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Lancers came out on top against the Musketeers by a score of 6-1. The win was nothing new for the Lancers as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Belleville East's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Red Bud, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-7.
