Basketball Recap: Ortonville Takes a Loss

Ortonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Canby Lancers, falling 82-33. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Lancers from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Ortonville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Canby, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Ortonville will square off against Lakeview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canby, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-43 win against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton on the 14th.
