Baseball Recap: Hebron Comes Up Short

If Hebron was feeling good fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Tri-Township on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks fell just short of the South Central Satellites by a score of 7-6 on Wednesday. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Satellites recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Hebron saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brock Franzman, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another was Pete Socci, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10-1. As for South Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-14.

Looking ahead, Hebron will challenge Calumet Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. South Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
