Soccer Recap: Sterling Comes Up Short

Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Spring Woods Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 779th, while the Tigers are ranked 285th).

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Spring Woods, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Sterling will host Sharpstown at 7:45 p.m. on February 11th. As for Spring Woods, they will head out on the road to challenge Milby at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
