Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Taft Toreadors, falling 3-0.

While St. Francis had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-21.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Taft, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, St. Francis will square off against Crescenta Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Golden Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Taft, they will face off against University Prep Value at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
