Archer Johnston, Elgin's leading rusher, solidified his role on Friday. Johnston was excellent, rushing for 120 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (104) per game.

Johnston and Elgin will be playing at home against Lucas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coming in off a loss to Martins Ferry in their last outing, the Cubs are looking for some redemption.
