Soccer Recap: Mitchell Takes a Loss

Mitchell managed to keep up with Rock Creek Academy until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bluejackets came up short against the Lions, falling 7-1.

Mitchell's goal came courtesy of Alexander Gaytan-Valle, who's now up to four this season.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Rock Creek Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4-1.

Mitchell wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 loss against Lighthouse Christian Academy on the 13th. As for Rock Creek Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against Henryville on the 11th.
