Volleyball Recap: Lenoir City Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Lenoir City duked it out with Copper Basin on Monday. The Panthers won by a set and slipped past the Cougars 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since September 6, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Copper Basin lost, don't look at Kendra Deal. Despite the final result, she had 15 assists and four digs. Deal is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Lenoir City has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Lenoir City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Northview Academy on the 21st. As for Copper Basin, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against McMinn Central on the 18th.
