Stuttgart posted their closest win since March 6, 2025 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Hamburg Lions. The two-run effort marked the Ricebirds' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Stuttgart pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Hamburg, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Stuttgart will venture away from home to face off against Monticello at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Ricebirds 1.8, the Billies 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
