Soccer Recap: Waupaca Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Waupaca was feeling good fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Little Chute on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Comets came up short against the New London Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Waupaca can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 239th, while New London are ranked 64th).

Waupaca dropped their record down to 2-7-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for New London, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0-1.

Coincidentally, Waupaca and New London will both be playing Antigo the next time they take the pitch. The Comets will head out to face the Red Robins at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
