Volleyball Recap: Urbana University Comes Up Short

Urbana University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 37th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Calvary Christian Academy Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Urbana University was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 15 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15.

Urbana University's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they moved to 4-14 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Coming up, Urbana University will face off against Arthur-Okaw Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against DeLand-Weldon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
