Baseball Recap: Jayton's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Jayton was feeling good fresh off their 16-1 takedown of Baird on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaybirds came up short against the Hamlin Pipers on Tuesday, falling 13-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaybirds in their meetings with the Pipers: they've now lost four in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jayton fell to 2-1. As for Hamlin, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1.
