Upper Scioto Valley was sadly handed a loss on Saturday, but Ruby Risner did her best to prevent it. Risner pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. The performance marked the fewest hits she has had since back in April of 2025.

Risner and Upper Scioto Valley will venture away from home to square off against Perry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
