Basketball Game Preview: Sunnyslope Vikings vs. Perry Pumas

The Sunnyslope Vikings will take on the Perry Pumas at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Sunnyslope comes in on nine and Perry on ten.

Sunnyslope is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They snuck past Millennium with a 58-53 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Perry faced O'Connor in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Perry strolled past O'Connor with points to spare, taking the game 76-57.

Perry's victory was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points over those games. As for Sunnyslope, their win bumped their record up to 21-8.
