Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Lafourche). They walked away with a 68-58 win over the East St. John Wildcats on Friday. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 60-47 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Central Lafourche's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 7-29. As for East St. John, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-23.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Lafourche will take on Hahnville at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East St. John, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Terrebonne will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something East St. John surely won't give up without a fight.
