Volleyball Game Preview: Wayne Trace Raiders vs. Fairview Apaches

Wayne Trace is 1-8 against Fairview since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Raiders will challenge the Apaches at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Wayne Trace got the win against Jefferson by a conclusive 3-0. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Fairview earned a 3-1 victory over Archbold on Thursday.

The win got Wayne Trace back to even at 10-10. As for Fairview, their record now sits at 16-3.

Wayne Trace couldn't quite get it done against Fairview when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
