Rising Sun is a perfect 10-0 against Elkton since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will host the Golden Elks at 3:30 p.m. Rising Sun's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Elkton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Rising Sun proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by seven) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past North East 2-1.

The team relied heavily on Carsyn Godwin, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Elkton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against C. Milton Wright, falling 21-5.

The win got Rising Sun back to even at 3-3. As for Elkton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Rising Sun took their victory against Elkton in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Golden Elks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
