Football Recap: Sherrard Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sherrard extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to ten on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They were beaten by the Monmouth-Roseville Titans 49-13. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while the Titans are ranked 139th).

As for Monmouth-Roseville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Landon Montroy produced another solid performance rushing for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
