Volleyball Recap: Everett Vikings vs. Portland Raiders
Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 36th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Portland Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13.
Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Portland, the win got them back to even at 12-12-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everett will host Okemos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Okemos will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Everett surely won't give up without a fight. As for Portland, they will be playing at home against Sexton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Portland is facing Sexton at the right time seeing as Sexton is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
