Baseball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for West Marshall

West Marshall won the last time they faced Nevada and things went their way on Monday too. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Cubs 10-9. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

West Marshall's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Nevada, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Coming up, West Marshall will venture away from home to take on Prairie City-Monroe at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nevada, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-9 victory against Dike-New Hartford on the 10th.
