Volleyball Recap: Clifton Central Comes Up Short

Clifton Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Watseka Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Clifton Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Watseka, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Clifton Central will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Dwight at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Watseka, they will challenge Herscher at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
