Football Game Preview: Arp Tigers vs. Edgewood Bulldogs + How To Watch

Arp is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Edgewood is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Tigers will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arp's defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so Edgewood's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Arp is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They slipped by Daingerfield 29-28.

One reason for the win was Arp's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Leading the way was Zyon Washington with two.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Edgewood sidestepped Woodville for a 59-56 victory. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly three points.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Trevor Golightly and Luke Babin. Golightly had a great game and rushed for 109 yards and three TDs. Meanwhile, Babin was balling out in the loss, throwing for 323 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 77 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries.

Arp's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Edgewood, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
