Soccer Game Preview: Austin vs. Ysleta

The Austin Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Ysleta Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Austin will be strutting in after a win while Ysleta will be coming in after a loss.

Austin will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Friday, then bounced right back against Fabens on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Wildcats. Considering Austin's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Ysleta managed to keep up with Bowie until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Indians lost 3-0 to the Bears.

Austin's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Ysleta, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
