Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Makenzie White and Journee Hampton Lead Lancaster to Victory

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Lancaster blew past Lincoln 70-50. For Lancaster, this counts as revenge for the 63-40 win Lincoln walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Leading Lancaster to victory were Journee Hampton and Makenzie White. Hampton almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards, while White posted 19 points and four steals. What's more, White also posted a 75% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Destini Etier, who went 5-for-9 en route to 12 points.

The victory was the third in a row for Lancaster, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 57.7 points this season. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

As for Lincoln, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-51 loss against Houston Christian on the 13th.
