Baseball Recap: Joppatowne Mariners vs. City College Black Knights
Joppatowne had lost six straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 1-12 to make it seven. They came up short against the City College Black Knights, falling 12-2. The Mariners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
Joppatowne saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Stevens, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.
As for City College, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

Joppatowne didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 defeat against North East on the 6th. City College does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
