It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wethersfield can now relate to. They came up short against the East Lyme Vikings on Monday, falling 14-2. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Wethersfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for East Lyme, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
