Basketball Recap: Athens Takes a Loss

Athens lost against Southfield Arts & Tech back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Athens Red Hawks were dealt a 66-37 loss at the hands of the Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Athens' record now sits at 6-10. As for Southfield Arts & Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Athens is taking a road trip to challenge Harper Woods at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Athens is facing Harper Woods at the right time seeing as Harper Woods is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Southfield Arts & Tech has already played their next matchup (against Adams), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
