Basketball Game Preview: Wimberley Texans vs. Manor New Tech

The Wimberley Texans will head out to take on Manor New Tech on Tuesday. Wimberley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.6 points per game this season.

Wimberley might have lost, but man, Paul Gumbert-Mendoza was a machine: he shot 5-for-7 from long range and almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine assists. Gumbert-Mendoza is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 16 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Holden Crawford, who went 5-for-10 en route to 12 points.

Meanwhile, Manor New Tech played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by LBJ Austin 83-44. Manor New Tech was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-14.

Wimberley's loss dropped their record down to 24-9. As for Manor New Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-15.
