Thomas Jefferson Campus and Archbishop Stepinac squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Thomas Jefferson Campus had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 69-67. The Orange Wave's defeat signaled the end of their 22-game winning streak.

Archbishop Stepinac's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Danny Carbuccia led the charge by going 7-for-13 to rack up 15 points in addition to seven assists and four steals. Another player making a difference was Hassan Koureissi, who posted 15 points and seven boards.

Thomas Jefferson Campus' loss dropped their record down to 31-2. As for Archbishop Stepinac, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 22 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season.
