Soccer Recap: Monmouth-Roseville Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Monmouth-Roseville was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Macomb Bombers.

Monmouth-Roseville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-3. As for Macomb, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monmouth-Roseville will face off against Quad Cities Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Quad Cities Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Monmouth-Roseville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Macomb, they will challenge Galesburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
