Basketball Recap: Wabasso Victorious

Wabasso hadn't done well against St. Mary recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wabasso Rabbits managed a 58-54 win over the St. Mary's Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 78-70 back in December of 2024.

Wabasso has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for St. Mary's, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Wabasso will be playing in front of their home fans against New Ulm Cathedral at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Mary's, they are taking a road trip to face off against Central Minnesota Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
