Football Game Preview: Plain Dealing Lions vs. Lincoln Prep Panthers

The Plain Dealing Lions will head out to challenge the Lincoln Prep Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Plain Dealing hasn't scored more than 12 points for eight games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

It was a proper cat-fight when Plain Dealing challenged Jonesboro-Hodge on Thursday. The Lions were beaten by the Tigers 40-0.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Prep played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Cedar Creek and fell 65-32. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-12.

Plain Dealing will have to keep a close watch on Jabari Levingston and Joshua Kelly, a pair of players who had a big impact on Lincoln Prep's prior game. Levingston gained 223 total yards and two touchdowns, while Kelly threw for 286 yards and three TDs on only 18 passes. Levingston's longest reception was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.

Plain Dealing's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lincoln Prep, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-5.
