Softball Recap: Falkner Eagles vs. Ashland Blue Devils
Falkner never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Ashland Blue Devils as Falkner made off with a 19-0 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Taylor Garner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Mia McDaniel was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Caylee Washington was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
